PROFESSIONAL BIO
Jose Ferrer Jr. is a board-certified gastroenterologist and internist, practicing in the community of Miami, FL. Dr. Ferrer attended the Universidad Central del Caribe, where he received his medical degree. He then completed his residency in Internal Medicine and his fellowship in Gastroenterology at Jackson Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Ferrer is a physician at Gastro Health, where he performs procedures such as colonoscopies, Bravo PH, capsule endoscopies, EGD’s, and ERCP’s. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in gastroenterology and received the Baptist Annual Fellows Award in recognition of his leadership and teaching.
Outside of practicing medicine, Dr. Ferrer enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters. His utmost concern as a provider is the health of his patients. Dr. Ferrer exhibits his passion for gastroenterology in the care and precision he takes with his patients.
